About The Bowling Club

The Bowling club is a project whose main aim is to transform Cape Town into a high quality international cultural hot spot 12 months of the year. Its purpose is to create a platform in Cape Town where one is exposed to, and can interact with, local and international talent.

The club is comprised of 12 members. Each member’s task is to create one event for one specific month of the year that either brings or showcases some extraordinary talent.

The Bowling Club will host one event every month. Activities will start in January 2007 and although each planned event is scheduled for one performance, some may be more than a once-off if sufficient demand allows.

Each talent or act will have an extended involvement in Cape Town, either through holding workshops, having talks or collaborating with local talent, media or interested parties.
